My name is Courtney Pruett, I am from a teeny tiny town in Arkansas. I was born and raised on a farm and had an amazing upbringing. I am currently a senior at ASU working on my bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I have researched and found many teacher blog's that I am absolutely obsessed with. I get some amazing ideas and cannot wait to implement them into my own classroom! So, I thought it was time to start practicing. When I graduate this May and hopefully get a job teaching in August, I will be up-to-date with this whole blogging "thing!"
I will be 24 years old this November. Still a "young grasshopper." I live back on the farm I was raised on and I'm working on renovating my grandmother's house. I call it, "The house that built me." It's 30 years old and has its own little charm, which I love. I have gotten two rooms completed and I am thrilled with the results, but completely stressed with the thought of working on the next two rooms after school just started. YIKES! I have many animals which I am obsessed with. They're my fur babies! I will post pictures of each of them at a later date, I'm sure you will get sick of them at some point! I have two dogs, Semper and Macy. "Sempie" is my cocker spaniel, he's completely spoiled! Macy is an over-sized large who lives outside, for obvious reasons. I like to think of her as the "intimidator." I have a barn cat Gracie who I rescued about 7 years ago. She's as country as they come. (I'll have to post pictures of her on the tractor-priceless!) Lioness is my fat house cat, she "rules the roost." I can't leave out my two goat babies! I have a dairy goat, Bluejeans and a half-boer goat, Britches. Talk about spoiled! I have loved goats since I was little, I was in 4-H and started showing them in the fair. The rest is history. I know, kinda strange. Besides all the pets, we have tons of moo cows that roam the 80 acres.
Needless to say, I'm an outside girl who would much rather be out working than inside doing just about anything, especially homework...which I should be doing right now...but hey, I think creating this blog should be some sort of extra credit...right??
So, this will be my first practice post. Hopefully I can submit it correctly! :) Get ready for some bad grammar now and again and perhaps some not so entertaining posts, but I'm just starting out. Thanks for listening to my "Ramblings."
Love it, Courtney! So proud of you! (But what happened to the pink?) lol You are funny and so smart - I will love reading your blogs! I'm about to create mine too! Thanks for the inspiration! Love you!!! XOXOX
ReplyDeleteThanks Mom! :) I'll give it a try and see how it goes. Still trying to figure out the logistics...
DeleteWelcome to the blogosphere! I wish I had started mine at your age. Oh, wait, there was no such thing...Ok I wish I had invented it.
ReplyDeleteGood job!
Hilarious, as always!
